About Me

Although I sit in the therapist’s chair today, my own journey began on the other side—searching for help, unsure where to turn, and carrying the weight of my own pain. I’ve lived through my own challenges and I’ve had the privilege of being supported by compassionate therapists who helped me find my way through. Those experiences are not just part of my past—they’re part of what gives my work meaning today.

I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and hold a Masters degree in Mental Health Counselling. I have over 10 years experience working with adults and youth experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, and anger. I primarily use Person-Centered Therapy with all my clients, tailoring my approach to meet each individual's unique needs. Depending on those needs, I also integrate a range of evidence-based modalities, including Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy. There is no one size fits all approach to therapy, and that’s why I will work with you to create a plan that is unique and personalized to you and your goals.

When I’m not working, I can typically be found out with my dogs Rosie and Winnie, and spending time with my friends and family.
